Description

Mounjaro is a prescription-only once-weekly injection used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and for weight management, including weight loss and weight maintenance, in eligible adults.

• Once-weekly pre-filled injection pen for use in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm

• Works by activating both GLP-1 and GIP receptors to help regulate appetite and blood sugar levels

• Treatment usually starts at 2.5 mg once weekly and may be increased gradually under clinical supervision up to a maximum of 15 mg

• Suitable for adults with BMI 30+ or BMI 27+ with weight-related health conditions, subject to clinician assessment

• Continued treatment requires regular medical review and dose adjustment

• Not suitable for anyone under 18
